• What is the School Site Council (SSC)?
     
    The SSC serves as the school's representative body for determining the focus of the school’s academic instructional program and all categorical funding.

    The SSC’s primary responsibilities are:

    • Develop and approve the School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) and related expenditures in accordance with all federal, state, and District laws and regulations.
    • Provide an ongoing review of the implementation of the plan with the principal, teachers, and school staff members, and other stakeholders
    • Review data and evaluate the progress made towards the school goals to raise the academic achievement of all students.
    • Develop and approve the School-Parent Compact and the Parent and Family Engagement Policy.
